Mary
Your writing is encouraging to read. I appreciated the most recent post on grief. What a perfect description in the poem. I am so thankful that God is spurring you on to keep writing. Keep listening to His voice! Your friend, Heidi

Mary,

I can so relate to your story. I had issues with control in my life and it's been a struggle to break free from that habit,or attitude. I think I've finally got somewhat of a handle, I am aware of when I may be starting the behavior and can step back and think things thru more readily. The only way it's been possible for me is to let God have it and not take it back. Without His grace I wouldn't even be able to admit this.

I'm so thankful that God is a loving and merciful God and He has all this stuff worked out for us,we just need to trust Him.

Karen, you and Margo bring two things together which are important for miracles to happen:
1. You must believe in miracles, that they actually can and do happen.
2. You must look (an attitude of expectation) for them in order to see them.

I believe that you find what you are looking for. If you look for ugliness in this world, you will find it. If you look for evil, you will find it. If you look for beauty and kindness, you will find it also. In order to see the miracles around, you must look for them. They are there. You may choose to believe in these miracles or you may try to find rational explanations. They still remain miracles. Start looking for your own miracles. You will be amazed as things around you begin to happen that have no rational explanation...except for the idea that maybe they are YOUR miracles.

Thank you, Karen! What a blessing it's been to see God work in all of this and of course there is a story behind it!
When Margo went to school and got her degree it was in Graphic Desgin. Her sister, Julie, was interning at a radio station. Though Margo was not experienced with web design and all that entails, she was asked to come to work for that radio station. From there she has learned how to do all the wonderful web designing she you see here. She's completely built this site!! And it all happened just at the time we at "Christian Potpourri" were growing and developing and wanting to have a website. Isn't it amazing how God works!
Since we've been talking about miracles, I believe this totally qualifies!
God continues to amaze and delight us!
Thank you again for the compliment! God is good!

I believe that life itself is a miracle. The simplicity and complexity of life all point to God's miraculous hand in everything. It leaves me in awe as I see everything reflecting Him. I also believe that miracles unfold before many people whether they see it or not. Seeing miracles requires believing in miracles, in my personal opinion.
